The Department of Family and Child Sciences offers undergraduate degrees in two areas:
Family and Child Sciences and Family and Consumer Sciences Education. Also, the Department has an approved program for
the Certified Family Life Education (CFLE) credential offered by the National Council on Family Relations

The Department’s Honors Program invites selected juniors and seniors to participate in independent study opportunities with faculty members.
Practica and internships are available to students. Although practica is required for all students majoring in the Department, an internship is optional.
